I do have a suggestion, though, but it's not optimal: StarUML was written in Delphi, and it contains custom components for creating UML diagrams. You might want to have a look at TMS Software's Diagram Studio, not specifically a mind-mapping component but it does offer diagramming functionality in your delphi app. and a developer license does come with source code.
